It’s getting close!

Warm weather and some incredible winds have changed the look of the lake considerably this week! Unfortunately, the only boat ramp that is clear for launching is Iola and I don’t think they will open Iola until May! The Lake Fork boat ramp still has a very large ice berg blocking it in. There are some big sheets of ice all across the lake, but I would venture to guess that the lake is 50-60% open water. Depending on the weather and wind, we should see the lake boatable within the next 7 days!
